Night Journeys: Overnight adventures for schools, scouts and groups
Take your class, youth group or scout group on a unique adventure! Enjoy the EcoTarium's environmental exhibits, planetarium and expansive grounds for a full night of interactive programs and guided explorations.
Night Journeys are offered Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Things you'll do:

- See a planetarium show
- Visit with a live animal

Choose from one of 4 exciting themes:
- Amazing Animals
How does a habitat affect the animals that live in it? Meet a variety of live animals and find out firsthand how they adapt to the environment. Learn about wildlife conservation. Delve into the animal kingdom as you do a scavenger hunt through the museum. - Nature of New England
Think you know all about New England's environment? Explore secrets of the forest to discover things you never knew! Scavenger hunts, activities and live animals give you a new perspective. - Astronomy Adventure
Get read for a new look at space with an astronomy scavenger hunt, planetarium programs and, weather permitting, outdoor telescope viewing. Discover the constellations and planets. Launch your own mission to Mars - use your engineering skills to build our our Mars lander. - Creatures of the Sea
Go underwater without leaving land! From tiny sea stars to crabs, the marine environment is home to an array of amazing creatures. Get really up-close with live tidepool animals and have fun with activities and games.
Tickets
Night Journeys are $45 per person (including chaperones). A continental breakfast is included. Children must be six or older. Minimum group size is 28 people. At least one chaperone is required for every 10 children.

EcoTarium provides the fun, but be sure to bring your own gear:
- Sleeping bags and pillows
- Pajamas or light sleepwear
- Seasonally appropriate outerwear
- Snacks and water bottles
- Camera to record your visit
- Change of clothes

Please note that your group may not be the only one in the museum; we will take reservations for up to two groups per night. Each group must have a minimum of 28 people and the two groups combined cannot exceed 100 people.
