New Astronomy Birthday Party

Blast into Outer Space with our New Astronomy Birthday Party. This package includes:

Cost: $240 ($215 members) for up to 15 children. $290 for parties of 16-20 children ($265, members).

Birthday Bash

Designed for the parent who wants to plan their own activities and/or enjoy all the museum has to offer. This package includes:

Cost: $155 ($130 members) for up to 15 children. $205 for parties of 16-20 children ($180, members).

Extreme Bash

We'll provide a host to assist you in running the party and plenty of age-appropriate activities. Choose from three fun science & nature themes: Tide Pool Experience, Totally Turtles or Animal Tracking.

Cost: $220 ($195, members) for up to 15 children. $270 for parties of 16-20 children ($245, members).

The Ultimate Extravaganza

Just bring the cake and we'll take care of the details. A host will assist you in running the party and lead children in plenty of age-appropriate activities. Choose from three fun science & nature themes: Tide Pool Experience, Totally Turtles or Animal Tracking.

Cost: $260 ($235, members) for up to 15 children. $310 for parties of 16-20 children ($285, members).

Party details

Please arrive about 20 minutes early for your party. Guests will be directed to your party room when they arrive. Once you've reserved your party, you'll be issued a security password that you can share with parents who will be picking up and dropping off children at the party. They'll need this password to enter the museum.

Maximum number of people per party is 30 (room capacity).

Please note that children are not able to touch the animals during the EcoTarium's parties. We're sorry, but we are unable to reserve specific animals for the live animal encounter.

For the safety of our animals, we ask that you do not bring balloons, pinatas or straws to the party as these items can be hazardous to their health.

Birthday Party Frequently Asked Questions

Reserve your date early!

Our birthday calendar fills quickly. You may have your birthday party on a Saturday or Sunday. Saturday parties are held at 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. Sunday parties are held at 2:00 p.m. Parties are two hours. A minimum of two weeks reservation is required. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at booking. The non-refundable balance is due two weeks before your party.
