Looking for a unique birthday party idea for your child? Consider holding your next birthday bash at the EcoTarium. With fun science and nature activities, live animals, train rides and a whole museum to explore, children's birthday parties at the EcoTarium are educational and plain old fun!

Astronomy Party

Blast into Outer Space with our Astronomy Party. This package includes:

Cost: $255 ($220 members) for up to 15 children.
For Parties of 16-20 children: add $50
Colorful paper goods and decorations: add $40
Maximum room capacity is 30 people including children and adults.

Saturday 10:00am party suggested for ages 3-7, Saturday and Sunday 2:00pm party suggested for ages 6-11

Animal Party

We'll provide a host to assist you in running the party and plenty of age-appropriate activities. Choose from three fun science & nature themes: Tide Pool Experience, Totally Turtles or Animal Tracking.

Cost: $240 ($205, members) for up to 15 children.
For Parties of 16-20 children: add $50
Colorful paper goods and decorations: add $40
Maximum room capacity is 30 people including children and adults.

Party details

Please arrive about 20 minutes early for your party. Due to all the fun-filled activities, please be on time! Guests will be directed to your party room when they arrive. Once you've reserved your party, you'll be issued a security password that you can share with parents who will be picking up and dropping off children at the party. They'll need this password to enter the museum. Parties are for two hours, after which the room must be vacated, but we welcome you and your guests to stay and visit the museum and grounds.

Our party rates are based on the number of children attending, however, the maximum number of children and adults per party is 30. Parties are appropriate for children ages 3-11.

Please note that children are not able to touch the animals during the EcoTarium's parties. We're sorry, but we are unable to reserve specific animals for the live animal encounter.

You may bring cake, ice-cream, and refreshments to the party. You can also have pizza delivered from one of the local pizzerias, or we would be happy to provide you with a list of preferred caterers. For the safety of our animals, we ask that you do not bring balloons, pinatas or straws to the party as these items can be hazardous to their health.

Reserve your date early!

Our birthday calendar fills quickly. You may have your birthday party on a Saturday or Sunday. Saturday parties are held at 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. Sunday parties are held at 2:00 p.m. Parties are two hours.

Reservations are required a minimum of two weeks in advance. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at booking. The non-refundable balance is due two weeks before your party.
