Seasons of Change

Seasons of Change is an interactive exhibit that illustrates how climate change is impacting the landscape of New England over the changing of the seasons. Explore the exhibit and learn about the changes you'll experience as southern climates move north. Imagine New England with new invasive plants and pests, more intense nor'easters, coastal flooding and more summer days over 100 degrees.

Investigate the effects of increased carbon dioxide on native plant species, warmer winters on the maple sugar industry, more acidic oceans on the lobster fishery industry and extreme weather conditions on the city of Boston. Share your thoughts about what aspects you might miss most about New England's current climate, compare coastal flooding today with projections for the year 2100, control a global climate change simulation, and a whole lot more.

Free with museum admission.

Seasons of Change is made possible with funding from a grant from the National Science Foundation awarded to Brown University.
