Training time for an opossum? A giant box filled with shredded paper and treats for a fox? Ever wonder what a porcupine’s favorite toy might be?
For many animals, living under human care is much different than living on their own in the wild. Come find out what zookeepers do to ensure that the creatures in their care are happy and healthy. Watch animal training by our wildlife staff, and then design and build puzzles and toys to engage our resident animals. Take on “Animal Challenges” as you discover how animals think, play, and survive in the natural world.
The camp session for Eagle Eyes (ages 7 & 8), Explorers (ages 9 & 10), Counselors-in-Training (ages 13 & 14) is full.
