The evening's theme
The EcoTarium Gala Auction theme celebrates both our new exhibit, The Arctic Next Door: Mount Washington, and our 40 years on Harrington Way. On this evening, we will acknowledge those whose vision and efforts made our home on Harrington Way a reality:
- Our beautiful 55 acres were donated by the Charles H. Harrington Foundation
- Creating a world-class science center was the vision of Executive Director Richard T. Kleber
- It became a reality through the hard work of the Board of Trustees, President of the Board and the Capital Fund Campaign Cabinet:
Francis A. Harrington, President, Capital Fund Campaign, and Cabinet: Richard C. Steele, Chairman; Edwin B. Coughlin, Paris Fletcher, Francis H. Dewey III, Channing S. Smith, David H. Ellsworth, Robert W. Stoddard.
