Summer Camp: How Things Work
One-week camp offered July 12 – 16 and August 9 – 13, 2010
Includes a miniature car keepsake that each child will construct themselves!
Kids get experimental with physics, engineering and green technology to learn how things work!
From the bird's eye view of the Tree Canopy Walkway, kids will discover how it's suspended and then zip down to the forest floor below. Campers will learn about the process of converting wind energy into electricity through the use of pinwheels and wind generators and they'll learn about the mechanics of machines by working together to construct operative Lego vehicles.
Camp fees:
Before May 1st: $270 per week; $250 per week for members
As of May 1st: $290 per week; $270 per week for members
