Get up close to our tide pool creatures and join us for fun, aquatic-themed adventures. Mess around with your own oil spill and see just how difficult it is to clean up. Squeal when you dissect a squid! Plus, get outside on our nature trails and enjoy spring at the EcoTarium this April vacation! Activities free with museum admission.

Spineless Wonders: Inside Squid
Get up close and personal with a squid! Did you know they can squirt black ink? Did you know they have eyes on the sides of their heads? Discover for yourself by dissecting a squid!

Animal Encounters
Meet live animals from the museum’s exhibits.

Pretty Slick: Oil Spill Clean-up
Mess around with your own oil spill and find out how difficult it is to clean up!

Apple Spice Junction will be open every day in the Food Pavilion starting Saturday, April 19. Hours will be 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, and 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. on Sundays. They will be serving fresh lunch and snack items.

Celebrate our planet! The EcoTarium and the Regional Environmental Council of Central Massachusetts team up to teach you and your family how small changes can make a huge difference. Dance to the beat of the band Chuck and Mud. Design a wind turbine and generate electricity! Join us for a special tide pool animal feeding, face painting and many more fabulous, fun activities. Meet Finz from the Worcester Sharks! Drop by and find out how you can do your part for the planet.
Apple Spice Junction will be open on Earth Day from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. selling sandwiches and fun food!
