Looking for
a fun Halloween festival that's not too scary for the kids? Don’t miss the
biggest Halloween celebration for families in Central Massachusetts -- Great
Pumpkin Fest on Saturday, October 25. From noon to 9 p.m. enjoy creative displays of hundreds of carved, lit pumpkins. Take a free hayride and a train ride, and enjoy a free digital planetarium show, games, animal encounters, kids' costume parades, crafts, pumpkin-carving demonstrations, Halloween story times, face painting, a magician, and much more festival fun.
The digital planetarium show Passport to the Universe will be showing during Great Pumpkin Fest for FREE. Please note that auditorium seating is limited.
Friendly Halloween costumes are encouraged. Bring a flashlight to light your way at night. Event takes place rain or shine.
Please note that the EcoTarium will open at noon on Saturday, October 25.
Apple Spice Junction will be open for Great Pumpkin Fest selling grill items, soup and beverages. Ice cream, cotton candy and popcorn will also be available.

$14 general admission, $10 EcoTarium members
Children under 2 years old free.
Advance ticket purchase is no longer available. Tickets will be available at the gate on the day of the event.
Tickets include admission to the museum and grounds.
Please note: Tickets are non-refundable and no re-entry will be permitted on the day of the event.
