Enjoy an Inspiring Breath of Spring!
The Worcester Garden Club and EcoTarium are presenting a flower show, "Nature & Science In Bloom". Sanctioned by the Garden Club of America. The show will feature 6 categories of interpretive floral arrangements based on 6 of the EcoTarium's exhibits. Entries are open to Garden Club of America members and professionals and each category will be judged separately:
- The Pond
- Kenda
- Animal, Vegetable, Mineral inspired by the Mineral & Gem Exhibit
- Hidden Treasures inspired by Secrets of the Forest
- Scarlet Maca-a-a-a-a-a-w
- The Dark Continent inspired by the African Animals Exhibit
There will also be horticultural cut specimens and potted house plants as well as an educational exhibit about trees at risk and the Asian Longhorned Beatle. All of the interpretations and horticulture specimens will be judged by a panel of Garden Club of America judges from New England and New York. Designers from Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Massachusetts will be participating. The show is open to the public with the price of admission or membership to the EcoTarium.
