EcoTarium appoints interim director

(WORCESTER, MA)-- The Board of Trustees at the EcoTarium in Worcester has appointed Stephen Pitcher of Worcester as the museum's Interim Executive Director.
Mr.Pitcher is the owner of Compass Partners, LLC, which provides on-demand management services to small and medium-sized organizations. He has most recently served as Interim Executive Director at Preservation Worcester. His background in corporate finance and management includes roles as the Director of Finance & Systems at Norton Advanced Ceramics in Worcester and as Vice President of Finance and Controller at Vetrotex, A Saint Gobain Company located in Philadelphia, PA.
Steve has long been active in the local cultural community, serving as a Trustee at the Higgins Armory Museum and as the current Chairman of the Board of Directors of Music Worcester. He will serve as interim chief until the museum's board appoints a permanent Executive Director.
