EcoTarium comes alive during Night at the Museum event

The EcoTarium will hold A Night at the Museum, a special evening for adults on Saturday, May 12 from 7:30 to 10 p.m.  In a take-off of the popular 2006 film, starring Ben Stiller, exhibits will “come to life,” historical figures from Worcester, the world of science, and the EcoTarium’s nearly 200- year past will pay a visit, and hidden treasures from the museum’s collection will make an appearance. 

While discovering these after-hours surprises, party guests will also enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, musical entertainment, a moonlight train ride, games, and silent auction.  Tickets are $35 per person for EcoTarium members and $40 per person for non-members.  Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling 508-929-2703.

About the EcoTarium

The EcoTarium is a unique indoor-outdoor museum offering three floors of interactive exhibits, wildlife habitats, interpretive nature trails, a digital planetarium, and a narrow-gauge railroad. The museum's new permanent exhibit, The Arctic Next Door: Mount Washington, is now open on the Upper Level. The EcoTarium, located at 222 Harrington Way in Worcester, Mass., is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sundays 12 to 5 p.m. Admission is $14 for adults, $8 for children (2-18), and $10 for seniors (65+) and students.  Members and children under 2 are free.  Ample free parking is available on the grounds.
